In 2005, God blessed us with our best VBS
ever!
There were over 250 in total attendance for the
week, plus more than 50 workers who got involved in one way or another...but
these numbers pale by comparison to just one [1] soul being saved. We can
praise God for 11 precious ones who trusted
Christ
this week, including 3 teens who were "just visiting" w/ relatives on the final
night! Many more seeds were planted and other spiritual decisions that
were made are far too numerous to detail here.
The Spirit was strong in the lives of workers, and it proved to be contagious among the kids, their families, and reaching to the whole church in our Sunday morning service at the conclusion of the week.
Praise the Lord for the standard of excellence in the way this
was done. Mrs. Sheree's
organization and planning was superb, the teacher's hearts were passionate, and
the support staff did a phenomenal job in all areas.
From Pre-school all the way to the big kids, from those working behind the
scenes before it all began, to those who provided transportation, from the
refreshments team to the cleanup crew, from the activities department to those
working in the crafts area...it was all characterized by excellence!
