What We Believe

At Grace Baptist Church, we believe in the Verbal, Plenary Inspiration of Scripture, and that God's Word is authoritative in our lives.  We believe God is a Trinity, Man is Depraved, Satan is Real, Jesus was born of a virgin, His life sinless, His blood atoning, His body Resurrected, that Justification is by Grace and thru Faith.

We believe in the Person and Work of the Holy Spirit, the Eternal Security of the Believer, the Imminent, Pre-tribulational, Pre-Millennial Return of Christ, the Reality of Heaven and Hell.

As a Church, we are serious about Worldwide Missions as our obligation, the Autonomy of the Local Church, the Priesthood of the Believer.  We practice the 2 Biblical ordinances of Baptism by Immersion and the Lord's Supper, which we receive numerous times throughout the year.  The Church has 2 offices:  Pastor and Deacon, meeting the Biblical requirements of Acts 6 and I Timothy 3.

We use the King James Version of the Bible by conviction and by preference, but we are not KJO [King James Only].  Many of our people use parallel Bibles in their studies, but the KJV is used from the lecturns and pulpit.

We are an Independent Baptist Church.
