One of the most
memorable moments in my life was when my wife returned home from an
ultrasound and said, “there’s 2 of them…it’s twins!” And thru the next
dozen or more ultrasounds we watched them grow, move, and fight! And as
we’d look at them on the ultrasound video at home we’d say, “God love ‘em!”
And after they were born everyone would say, “God love ‘em!”
I’ve noticed
that people also use that phrase when speaking about someone to the
negative…matter of fact, you can say about anything you want about someone
if you put that phrase, “God love ‘em” after your comment. For instance:
“He’s about as dumb as a
post…God love him”
“the poor girl’s as
homely as they come…God love her!”
Let’s be clear from the
beginning of this message…God does love them! Whoever we’re talking
about…He loves ‘em! And today we talk about the unborn, and tonite, more
sanctity of human life issues like cloning, stem cells, euthanasia, and
suicide.
But now: the
unborn…God loves ‘em! For some reason, the fact that the Bible teaches
those precious roses kept from blooming go straight to heaven, is little
consolation, and certainly doesn’t make it right!
God
Loves Them…
Women who have
abortions…God loves ‘em!
Certainly a
church like this one will have in it women who had abortions prior to being
saved. The purpose of this message is anything but to laden you w/
more guilt. As a matter of fact…you are my strongest supporters. You’ve
been saved and now you recognize more than anyone here how needful this
message is. Don’t let Satan get you down today…Ma’am, you’ve confessed it,
forsaken it, and just like my sins, and their sins, Jesus’ blood has washed
that sin white as snow.
Men who’ve
pushed their
ladies to have abortions…God loves
‘em! …sometimes ignorantly, some times intentionally, men have laid
conscience aside and encouraged the procedure.
Other contributors to
this atrocity:
Supreme court justices
who voted in favor of Roe v. Wade…God loves them, and we need to pray
they take opportunity to vote differently over the next 4 years…God help
some to retire, or die if necessary, and God help our president and the
congress to take advantage of the best opportunity ever of reversing that
horrid decision!
Social
planners like Planned Parenthood who
every day advise and encourage young
ladies to seek abortions…God loves
them. Let’s pray for a major shift in the way that portion of our society
thinks. 20% of all young ladies today will have an abortion by the time
they are 19! [Focus on the Family website, 2005]
Greedy physicians who put the almighty
dollar ahead of their “Hippocritic
oath” to preserve life at all costs…God loves them! We shouldn’t
kill and threaten them…rather, in love, we should make our case and stand
together as the majority that we are, and as it grows, may their #’s shrink!
Owners
of abortion clinics who are getting rich off of their chambers of
death…God loves them! And tho’ He hates what they do, he died for their
sins as if He had committed them, and offers them forgiveness and
eternal life in Heaven alongside those whose lives they took. And right
now, they live in big fancy houses…I will say that their houses have babies’
bones for bricks and blood for mortar…these should repent before it’s too
late, and even they can have a mansion in heaven!
…also: Christians
who are pro-choice…Barna’s most recent stats show 45% of America
thinks there are some circumstances in which abortion is morally
acceptable. 4% of those in our circles [Baptist/Bible Churches, etc.] 33%
of other churches which use the term “Born Again” [Christian
Church/Charismatic/P’costal/some Methodist, etc.] And 45% of all other
churchgoers…same as America’s stat! In other words, the church bears much
of the responsibility…God love ‘em!
Does it surprise you
that God says He’s Pro-Choice?
Deut. 30:19-20
I call heaven and
earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and
death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy
seed may live: [20] That thou mayest love the Lord thy God, and that thou
mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy
life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which
the Lord sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give
them.
God is pro choice! God made man a "freemoralagent" … that is, one who would have to make his
own choices. God desires for man to make choices … thus He is pro-choice.
In allowing man to make his own choices God
gives man the measure of His Word to help him make the right
choice … the choice of life. God not only encourages us to choose
life … for God is "pro-life", He warns us that in not
choosing life, we have made a bad choice.

Proverbs 12:28
In the way of
righteousness is life; and in the pathway thereof there is no death.
We’re talking about
babies w/ souls since the moment of conception…but more than that, babies
who have developed physically, w/ beating hearts, digesting stomachs, open
eyes, hearing ears…babies which since the advent of ultrasounds have been
seen recoiling in pain, desperately trying to escape their killers! And if
the way that the coroner determines a person is completely dead is by the
absence of brain waves, shouldn’t the presence of brain waves
prove life!
Consider the
life that lies withinthe womb … from God’s persepective: - The Destiny of a nation lies in
the womb.
Genesis 25:23
And the Lord said unto her, Two nations
are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy
bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the
elder shall serve the younger.
- The Designation of a person lies
in the womb.
Judges 16:17
That he told her all his heart, and said
unto her. There hath not come a razor upon mine head; for I have been a
Nazarite unto God from my mother's womb: if I be shaven, then my strength
will go from me, and I shall become weak, and be like any other man.
- The Design of the family lies in
the womb.
Psalm 127:3
Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord:
and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
- The Development of the person
lies in the womb.
Isaiah 44:2
Thus saith the Lord that made thee, and
formed thee from the womb, which will help thee; Fear not, O Jacob, my
servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen. - The Direction of a person’s life
lies in the womb.

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew
thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I
ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
Partial Birth Abortion is allowing the unborn to be partially born (body but
leaving the head in the birth canal) and then killing the child. That now is
considered a wise choice by many in our land.
The only choice that is … is death! Death not only to the unborn child … but
to you and I as a nation. We are facing the cursing of God for allowing this
to be a choice in our land.
Proverbs 14:34
Righteousness
exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.
God says … I call heaven
and earth as witnesses today against you … choose life!
Life is a Wise
Choice…
Today humans are
targeted for destruction.
The Endangered Species Act protects 3 amphibians, 56 birds, 7 clams, 2
crustaceans, 29 fish, 8 mammals, 21 reptiles, 2 snails and 42 plants - and
their unborn offspring. But not an unborn human baby. My Bible says “ye are
of more value than many spotted owls!”
A Florida man was arrested for stealing turtle eggs from the beach.
a) He defended himself by saying that the eggs were not yet "life."
b) No good, he was convicted and fined.
c) To the law, a turtle egg is alive, but not an unborn baby!
4. And here are some of the outrageous fines recently levied by our courts:
a) $4,000 for killing cats.
b) $1,360 and 60 days in jail for torturing and killing rabbits.
c) $10,000 for doing anything to a tree other than hugging it!
d) But no fines for killing a baby - even a partially born youngster.
And meanwhile they say it’s all about women’s rights…well what about
unborn women?
We are called to love life and love
others throughout the Scriptures.
Therefore we must conclude that the taking of innocent life … within the
womb as well as life beyond the womb is wrong and a sin against God, others,
and the nation…it is not a demonstration of love.
…we
are supposed to speak out, raise our
voices, to protect the innocent!
Prov. 31:8-9
8 Open
thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to
destruction. 9 Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead
the cause of the poor and needy.
The Bible says that God
hates the shedding of innocent blood…
Abel’s blood cried out
to God when Cain killed him.
Rev. says the blood of
the christian martyrs cries out to God, “how long, O Lord, before you return
and take vengeance.”
The victim in an
abortion ranks as the most innocent victim ever sentenced to death. Who will
cry out for them?
If I approached
you, put my hands on your neck and began to push w/ all my might on your
throat, at least you could try to get away, at least you could try to cry
out…who will cry out for the unborn?
The pro-abortion crowd
yells and screams about freedom of choice. It’s my body…
Put it down in
big letters: WHAT ABOUT THE BABY’S BODY?
I imagine an aborted
baby in heaven asking God, how could she do that? After all, it MY BODY!
It’s your body, so put
cocaine into it! If you get caught, you’re going to jail.
Your body, yes.
In a civilized society, NO.
It’s your body, so sell
it out by means of prostitution. If you get caught, you’re going to jail.
Your body, yes.
In a civilized society, NO.
Let’s say I pull out a
hatchet and here before you begin chopping off my fingers. I hope some of
you would stop me.
But it’s my body!
Your body, yes.
In a civilized society, NO.
We take people like that
and put them in a straight jacket and rubber room!
No one has total
freedom to do w/ their own body whatever they want.
Scientists say, “we
don’t know that it’s alive, you can’t prove it’s alive”
Can you prove that it’s
not?
Let’s err on the
side of life. Ronald Reagan said, “If you don't know whether a body is
alive or dead, you would never bury it.”
We all have heard about
the girl who a few years ago left the prom, gave birth to her baby into a
toilet, and then returned to the dance. She was arrested for murder, as she
should have been…but wait a minute. Wasn’t she told it was ok? After all,
she could have taken care of that an hour earlier at a clinic and it would
have been fine!
Or, you probably heard
about the father, who, when handed his newborn son, threw him against the
wall of the delivery room, killing him. He was arrested for murder, as he
should have been. But wait…it would’ve been ok just minutes before to let a
doctor kill it.
A few years ago a mother
drowned all 5 of her children, why did she go to jail? Do you see the
double standard?
I say all of
this in love…because God loves them…but if these people just mentioned do
not confess and repent…I submit to you that Pharoah in the OT and King Herod
in the NT will, on judgment day, have to take a back seat to these groups of
people just mentioned. Hitler will have to stand in line behind these
people before receiving his sentence.
On Jan. 22, 1973, nine
people in black robes said there are only 3 requirements in our country in
order to have a legal abortion:
The baby must still be
inside the mother.
The mother must submit
to the procedure.
A licensed doctor must
officiate.
For me to get my
IL license I have had to write to 3 different gov. agencies just to get the
right legal documents.
It’s not only
legal to kill a baby, it’s as easy as a same day, out-patient
procedure…what’s wrong with this picture?
Partial-birth abortion
has all but done away w/ that first requirement.
(All but the
babies’ head is delivered. And as the nurse holds still the wiggling body
of the mostly delivered child, the doctor inserts a pair of surgical
scissors into the back of the neck, then opens the scissors to crush the
brain and spinal connection.)
7 years ago our
Christ-naming, southern Baptist president of the U.S. had a chance to outlaw
this procedure and did not. I wouldn’t want to be standing near him at the
judgment…and I don’t intend on even being present at the Great White Throne
judgment!...God love him!!
By the time you go to
work tomorrow, 4,000 more innocent people will be submitted to capital
punishment, although they will have no trial before they are executed. They
have no attorney, and will not be granted the basic rights of even a
prisoner of war. Not only will they not be treated humanely, not only will
they not be afforded the basic anisthetics used by every veterinarian in the
world, but they will die a torturous death, ripped apart by forceps and
injected with toxins.
On September 11, 2001, evil doers killed over 3500
people.
On September 12, 2001 4000 lives were
extinguished and again on September 13 and 14 and 15. Every day in America
there are over 4000 unborn babies who’s lives have been taken in what is
called pro-choice. 4000 each day, and 1.5 million each year.
On September 11, 2001 the outcry for justice was great, the cry of pain was
heard through out our Nation. Swift and accurate justice was rendered. 4000
unborn babies are being taken everyday, but I see no weeping, no anger, and
no outcry for justice and no one who cares.
More babies have been
killed since 1973 by abortion than the combined populations of NYC, Los
Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, Chicago, St. Louis, Philadelphia, Detroit,
Atlanta, Miami, Houston, KC, and counting at the rate of 1.5 million a year!
Norma McCorvey, the “Roe” of Roe v. Wade:
She got saved a few years ago and has been a leader for OUR cause ever
since, and is again petitioning the Supreme Court to overturn the ruling
they made 32 yrs. ago in her favor. This week she was asked by talk show
host Sean Hannity if she felt she bore a special burden as the plaintiff in
Roe v. Wade, McCorvey said she did experience guilt for a long time, but no
longer.
"I've been saved by the blood of the lamb
through Jesus Christ, and so I'm just here," she replied.
What not to do:
React in violence. It’s never right to do wrong.
What to do:
1.Be
informed. We can’t bury our heads
in the sand. Ignorance is bliss, right? Well, ignoring the issue doesn’t
make it go away. There’s no better platform from which to proclaim this
message than church, by the way.
2. Work and
pray…for a constitutional
amendment to overturn Roe v. Wade.
The next 4 years have the distinct possibility of overturning roe v. wade,
if we will speak up, vote, take our stand!
3.Teach
sexual morality in the home. We need
to teach our kids a higher standard than “safe sex”.
4.Have more
compassion for the unwed mother.
God loves them! And yes, we’ll preach against pre-marital sex. Once the
mistake is made, she needs unconditional love right here w/in these walls!
5.Speak
out clearly w/out apology. Is.
58:1—“Cry aloud, spare not! Lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and show my
people their transgression!”
6.Refuse
to be swayed by the high sounding
arguments of liberal politicians, and so-called “experts” in the scientific
field who have no moral base to speak from. They are clueless and don’t
even deserve our attention on this matter.
7.Pray for God
to have mercy on America, and
to give us space to repent…and to bring national revival.
